Dr. Ishola is always attentive and takes the time necessary to explain your condition, test results, and next steps in your treatment plan. I am very grateful to have Dr. Ishola as a caregiver. Also, his staff is always very helpful and pleasant.

The only reason I gave Dr. Ishola a one star rating is because I did not have the option to give ZERO stars. I recently had an angiogram performed and my cardiologist said I needed triple bypass surgery. I was all set for the surgery when Dr. Ishola came to my hospital room less than 24 hours before my procedure. Dr. Ishola preceded to tell me I did not need open heart surgery despite having a 100% blockage of my LAD (widowmaker) and a 99% blockage of anothery artery and the third was 80% blocked. Dr. Ishola told me he would ignore the 100% blockage and only put a stint in the one that was 99% blocked. Needless to say I was confused and my anxiety was through the roof. I had never met Dr. Ishola before and had no clue who he even was or what group he was associated. He went as far as to tell me if it was a member of his family he would tell them to skip the open heart surgery. At this point, I had no clue what I should be doing and asked to talk to my surgeon ASAP. The surgeon did come back to my room and very professionally told me he strongly thought I should have the surgery and definitely did not think a single stint was the answer. After having the surgery and all went well, I followed up my doctors and have been progressing nicely since. I eventually found out that Dr. Ishola is in the same group as my regular cardiologist. Today, I had a follow-up with him and told him my story about Dr. Ishola's conversation with me just prior to my surgery. He was both shocked and upset about the meeting and I found out that Dr. Ishola is part of the same cardiologist group. Dr. Ishola also indicated to me that he had talked to both my regular cardiologist and surgeon prior to meeting with me and both have stated they had no prior conversation about my case with him. I am sure Dr. Ishola will deny this ever happened but I had two family members in my room when he came in and told me not to have the surgery. I for one would NEVER go to Dr. Ishola for any medical needs and would suggest to others who do go to him to seek a second opinion before following his advice.

Enjoyed.meeting with Dr. Ishola. It was my first visit & I was impressed with him, his knowledge & his advice.
