He was so kind & took my symptoms seriously. He had strong concerns as to why no doctor has ever checked on my heart murmur. When he listen to my heart he called his staff in and said "get her the earliest appointment for a endocardiogram" I was relieved that a doctor took me serious for once in my life. What a brilliant human being.
My family and I had an extremely disappointing experience with this cardiologist. He has terrible bedside manners and was incredibly rude throughout the hospital admission. He barely gave us any time to ask questions or address concerns, leaving us feeling rushed and unheard. When speaking to both the patient and family members, his tone was condescending and inappropriate. It's clear that he lacks empathy and professionalism. I would not recommend this doctor to anyone seeking compassionate or thorough care. Worst doctor I've encountered in a very long time!
I will not go back to this doctor. Horrible experience. He was very rude and very sarcastic and belittle to me in front of his staff. My best friend was doubled over in pain complaining of her chest hurting. He walked out of the room and gave his staff orders to access the situation. I feel like he has no compassion.
Dr. Schwender gave me back quality of life. I had been misdiagnosed for 2 years by a neurologist. Within one month or so of testing helps able to find my issue. I ended up finding that my heart was stopping - a greater than 3 sec pause. I received a pacemaker & it has changed my life. He may not be for everyone but he helped me.
He does not listen to his patiants and told my hisband he had blockage at the bottom of hos heart. Which was not turn he had scar tissue at the bottom of his heart due to having a heart attack. And everytime my hisband went to see him he ignored his symptoms and just said there was nothing wrong sent him back to work which lead to a second minnor heart attack due to mistreatment. So would never suggest this doctor to anyone that I know. Because if they truly care about their loved ones like I do they would want only the best for them. And this man is not the best. Hes all about pushing the patiant out to get to the next one fast because insurance pays the bills....
