King's Daughters Cardiology

Absolutely ridiculous "care" by Dr Hesselson. My friend, a young cancer patient went to him for a check up. He asked why she was even there. He said he had two young girls referred to him and he didn't get it. First of all he shouldn't be talking about other patients. Secondly, he clearly doesn't know how to do his job if he's asking the patient. Also to be hateful to someone who is dealing with something so traumatic speaks volumes about his character. Do not recommend

Dr. Listerman and staff are excellent! I was told she was very thorough and several patients didnt like her because of this. I asked where do I sign up?! Lol. A Dr who is thorough and does her job, what? Lol. Seriously great Dr and great staff! Thank you all so much, though some may not appreciate you (idiots lol), I do. Seems to me people would want a cardiologist thats thorough, I know I do. Thx again.

AH WHAT?????? only an ER doctor can page the on call cardiologist???!!!! WHAT??? Maybe my small town up north is bigger than I thought. Up there, if I had an emergency I could page my cardiologist for help or direction. Down here I have to go to the emergency room!!!??? I like the cardiologist I see here at Kings Daughter. My experience going to the ER here in Kentucky is that my issue resolves after waiting several hours to be seen. Some day that won't happen Yes, I've talked with them but I've had no direction for my issue when it happens. Marshall cardiology lost me between the Dr retirement and who was going to cover. Thus my switch to Kings daughter. Now I find I'm in a pickle with my issue lasting longer than normal and I can't speak to a cardiologist for help/direction?? I have to go to the ER?? I shouldn't drive myself and I could try, as I drive on a regular basis. No neighbors. An ambulance will cost me an arm and a leg. Huh? I'll be stuck with a major bill to go to the ER, ER visit fees, ambulance fees, Dr fees for the visit., all the test fees and that's after insurance!! Why doesn't this make sense to me?? All the retailers are open, Christmas was on Sunday. So why are the doctors so special they can't take turns being on call even if several doctors share the day on call so it's not a "burden" to them?? Makes no sense to me! Why should I have to pay 100s of dollars to go to, possibly an overwhelmed er, for a help and direction that can be given in 10 minutes by a Dr on call. If the Dr says er is best option then it might be warranted. Geez, I bet the Urgent Cares are closed too. I didn't see them open yesterday. I guess they have different rules down here as opposed to up north. Oh my, what a heck of a learning experience, don't have an issue on a hoilday.

He's taken great care of me for the past 10 years, now I can't find him!!
