I have mixed feelings about this location. Dr Tyagi is great. Listens, was present, looks you in the eye. Office staff are another story as they never seem to know what is going on. Rescheduling - Expect 45 min long process. I had to give her my personal details 3 times, and was on hold 4 times. Billing - The office staff have no idea if you have a bill due, I was told i owe nothing, but had a bill letter at home that said so. Billing letters are missing the required info to pay online despite directing you to do so. Wait time - I've had 4 appointments, and waited between an hour and a half for every visit. I had an in office test, followed by an appointment to receive a heart monitor. I was told upon arrival that I might not get the heart monitor as the person to teach me how to very simply peal 2 stickies and place it on my chest was in Hutchinson. The person arrived, I received the monitor, but asked if i could get a letter to fly with the monitor at the front desk as i had company travel the next few days. I was told by a front desk person that i couldn't fly with it, and should have re-scheduled the test. I pushed on the topic, as the maker's web page was telling me i could, the message changed, and i got a rather un-professional looking DR note to take to TSA to show I had an excuse to not go through a body scanner, and was on my way. Office wait times- I've heard many patients grumble on the long wait times, two different patients complain to the front desk directly. One patient was told by a front desk person that if they didn't like the long wait time they should book an early morning appointment to avoid the wait time stack up at the end of the day. While logical, it's still rude to tell a patient that the way they did. One elderly couple walked out of their back office waiting room, and shouted at the staff on her way out she was tired of waiting and would never come back. Getting someone on the phone - I've left a message requesting a call back just for them to verify they have the necessary results before i drive in for an appointment. I called 4 days at different times of the day in 1 week to get someone on the phone to ask if they had my results, but no one answers. I left a message, still no call back. So, as with all healthcare, you have to aggressively advocate for yourself, and always bring a book to read, cause it's going to be a while.

This place is a complete joke! I waited 3 months to see H. Amirani when I arrived everything seemed normal and was told I needed a bunch of tests done and labs, no problem at all I promptly got the Labs done the next business day and had the results sent over. A week goes by with no phone call so I called the office and was told by his assistant that I had high cholesterol and that Amirani would review my results and call me back within the next couple of days to discuss everything..... Well that was three weeks ago and still no phone call to discuss my labs or to set up any of the other tests. I'm sure glade I'm not on my death bed because I probably would have been dead by now!

The doctors seem very nice in person, but barely spend any time with you other than to go over what their nurses already went over with you. Even if you have a caedioversion as I did, twice, they don't come see you after you wake up from the procedure. Apparently they are done and just let the hospitalist take over. Their office personnel seem incompetent. They don't return calls, don't keep appointments, and when you call them out for leaving you in the dark about your own treatment, they all do the same thing...blame a former employee who left things in disarray. They did this several times to me over the course of several months. I recommend looking elsewhere for your care. I know I will, since I have been waiting near 4 months for my ablation and, as far as I know, no progress has been made in scheduling that, but I'm out of the loop. Good luck.

I have been going there for 5 years Dr. Tyagi has been great He's over worked and booked He says I want to see you in 3 weeks it takes 3 months. I dont know what's going on you can't get a itemized statement when you finally reach someone they had me call someplace in Texas the pharmacy can't get thru to them for prescription refills, I had to call my family physician so i could get my meds, they are rude when you do reach a person. I asked did I need to find a different cardiologist and the girls reply was "do what you need to do. I'm new here so I can't help you." We'll ok than. I feel bad for the Dr's and nurses, but the office manager needs to get that office sorted out before there is no office. I have several friends in the medical field and they are hearing nothing but bad things lately about this office staff and treatment of patients from the non medical staff. Such a shame the medical staff are very caring even if they are booked so tight you only get like 5 minutes with them. They do give you their complete undivided attention while with you.

I passed out and hit my head on the sink in the bathroom and was taken to the hospital(St. Joseph)Of course I was let out and had to go back two days later due to the feeling like I would faint again. This time I went to St Francis. I met doctor Eid who saw me as my cardiologist in the hospital. He advised I need a heart monitor and to schedule for an appointment when I get out. He prescribed meds for my heart. I tried to schedule an appointment for two weeks as prescribed after I was released by calling his office. I left a voicemail and never received a call back. So I called again. I then had to go to my patient portal and leave a message there for the hospital doctor to get in touch with Cardiovascular care. They reached out to them and then I finally got a call back. Fast forward to my appointment. There were so many patients waiting to be seen it was unreal. I was told by doctor Eid I would need to set an appointment with the heart specialist in his office for a procedure called cardiac catheterization. He prescribed me more heart medication because I was almost out and the specialist didn't have any appointments until a few weeks out. Never received a monitor. The nurse never called my prescription in. I went to the pharmacy 3 times. Mins you I work and was trying to recover from the hospital stay and being sick. I called and called Cardiovascular care no response. They finally returned my call and I let them know they forgot to call the pharmacy with my prescription. The day they called it in the insurance program I was on from the hospital expired. So I had to pay for the medication out of pocket. I missed two weeks of work so my funds were low. I scheduled my appointment with the specialist who rescheduled a few days before appointment. When I arrived to the appointment I never received a heart monitor. I was told he was not able to get my records from the hospital. So I was there for 2 hours. When he finally got them he told me he was not able to see where the arrhythmia was coming from so the procedure was not necessary. He told me to come back in 6 months. He would refill my prescription. Flash forward to today. I called my pharmacy and gues what...no prescription for me.
