The University of Kansas Health System St. Francis Campus

Our experience here was absolutely incredible from start to finish. My wife was transported for emergency surgery and advanced diagnostics. The services were provided by the most compassionate staff from administrators, techs, nurses and surgeon. The communication was clear and everyone involved made the steps transparent. Dr. Rosenberger is a pleasure to work with and masterful in her field. I don't doubt that their actions ensured the life of my wife and I'm very grateful for the care they provided. We can't thank you enough.

My mother went to the ER today. She was treated in an unprofessional manner. Questions were not answered and she was in the ER from 5am and took her to her room 12 hours later. I phoned Mattie for answers and was told she would contact me. She never did. When I called her back I was asked questions such as was my mother a patient there, why did I need to speak with Mattie,, and then was told to hold. Lauren got on their phone and proceeded to ask more questions. I was place on hold again. Lauren got back on the phone and said Mattie was gone for day. So no report from any ER nurse. Things weren't any different on the 5th floor. This is unacceptable and will be reported to the board of nursing.

The food was horrible. The nurses and techs do not care and have no bed side manner. My mother was left for days bed ridden was not offered clean gown or sheets not given any personal hygen. I had to come in every day so she could brush her teeth. Had to request new sheets and gown and put them on my self. Had to bath her myself. And sometimes change her airwick myself. The cardiologist was extreamly rude and didnt care at all. Patients here are just a paycheck.

It has always beee a good hospital and dr have been great but it is fun that they can not compromise with insurance companies and insurance companies cannot compromise with them after being with this place for over 12 years having good doctors and everything else to two weeks before a new year find out that all your doctors you have used for so long is no longer available to you for by your insurance because the hospital and the owners of this company cannot compromise and use Blue Cross Blue Shield and Blue Cross Blue Shield cannot compromise with the hospitals. It sucks to now have to go find all new doctors because of stupid people cannot compromise.

Been with them all my life. Used to be great. Apparently Doctors dont know how to code for billing for an annual checkup and neither the doctor office or customer service has anyone that can fix the issue. Be warned you will be over billed and they will not correct it.
