I met Dr. Nayfeh recently at KUMC St. Francis Hospital Topeka, KS. I was referred to him by my cardiologist, Dr. Mamidipally, also from St. Francis. I found him to be very personable and knowledgeable. He scheduled several tests to investigate a suspicious spot in my lung. After examining the tests, he scheduled and performed a bronchoscopy along with his associate. Two days after the procedure he called me at home and gave me the results of the biopsies. He is now trying to schedule an appointment for me with the Oncology Department. From 7/31/25 to 9/2/25, he was able to schedule 2 CT scans, a PET scan and the Bronchoscopy. Usually it takes months to coordinate all of these procedures. I was very impressed and highly recommend him to anyone who might have pulmonary issues.
He is a very nice doctor. He explains to you in words you can understand and answers all your questions that you have for him. He seems to be a very caring person that gives his whole attention to you no matter how long it takes.
He showed me two pictures of my lungs; one was congested and the other cleared. He pointed out the difference and why he was pleased with the progress.
Doctor reviewed my x-rays and C-Pap data while answering any questions I had. Very friendly. I was glad I kept the appointment.
