His staff goes above and beyond to make me feel comfortable and entertained. His office manage drops in to say hello every time I'm there. I love this medical office and the care that I receive. The staff is both educated and comforting, from the girls at the front desk, to the billing and insurance portion, to the procedure rooms and beyond. Dr. Smalling and his partner Happy seem to create a home away from home for patients with vein disease to be treated adequately and effectively, all while still feeling comfortable and safe.

The staff is fun, knowledgeable, and the nicest group of individuals! Everyone is just so considerate and pleasant to be around. Doctor Smalling and his partner Happy are two of the greatest people I've ever met! Our city is a better place having them here!

Google must be the hangout where a few disgruntled employees and patients who don't understand their vein disease it seems. This specialist is amazing and on HealthGrades, WebMd, and all other DOCTOR review sites, the recommendations are stellar. I'm not sure what this is recently, with one patient who commented TWICE because they wanted her to be responsible for her bill. That's wrong. I had VenaSeal to treat my leg pain and chronic venous insufficiency in 2016 and it was the best thing I've asked my insurance to approve for treatment. Gone are my symptoms, which included swelling, strange sensations on my lower legs, itching, heaviness and achy tired legs. The staff is the happiest and most knowledgeable people. My annual check-ups will always include Dr. Smalling each year so my legs continue feeling great! Looking pretty decent, too!

I was suffering with severe Chronic Venous Insufficiency to the point my legs were always swollen, had open sores, and my legs hurt so badly all the time. I am retired and lead the volunteer traffic ministry at our church as well as other volunteer activities with our high school band. It had reached the point where my legs ached so severely after serving it was impacting my ability for normal life activities. After serving even one service, and especially after serving multiple services on Sunday morning, my legs used to hurt so badly it impeded my ability to do other activities for several days. I am so pleased to say my legs now feel great, and even after extensive activities my legs no longer hurt and I can lead a more active lifestyle. Procedures are all completed using local anesthesia, and if you follow the post-procedure guidelines recovery is very quick. Doc and team are extremely patient in answering any and all questions. It is great having a care team where it is evident they care very much about their patients and helping them improve their health and life situation.
