As an interventional cardiologist with AdventHealth Medical Group Cardiology & Cardiovascular Surgery, Dr Ammar Habib is an expert in various advanced coronary and peripheral vascular interventions. He also specializes in structural heart interventions, including transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR). With a lower mortality rate and shorter hospital stay than open heart surgery, TAVR is an innovative, specialized procedure which Dr Habib and cardiothoracic surgeon Dr Casey Hertzenberg have been performing at AdventHealth since 2018.
