Hutchinson Regional Medical Center

My 98 year old mom was admitted with stroke. Usually we have good care in ER but this time not, all in the name of we are busy. I was however grateful the aids who were excellent except for one. Then we went to ICU. Excellent Cma who made all the difference. However we had delay of meds which affected her greatly the next day. And I had to get the nurse going on it. I went home that night to sleep and told them call me if any major changes. When I left my mom, she was sitting up and talking and improved. By morning at 8 am I walked into her not responding , in pain and clearly in destress. When I asked, they said " 100 degree temp " I kept asking knowing more was going on and white count was up. Finally after me on repeat asking , pa was called in ( Kelli who was excellent and she got the ball rolling and the stroke had progressed. I was thankful for PA, the Cma and case management Laci .... All amazing. Nurses not so much. If Cma are going to give better care than nurses , they def need paid more. Cause you certainly do not see the nurses enough unless you go get them. We have had other experiences in ER and on other floors that went great.

Christopher Theil is an awesome doctor. I literally have no complaints about him. He's very thoughtful and thorougho and explains things in my terms I understand. What a great guy. Even though we do not share the same political views he can joke around and have a peaceful intelligent conversation about our views. I truly enjoy going to the doctors office now.

I just Graduated from pulmonary rehab. I have already recognized these 4 individuals but I would like to recognize them again. Judy Diggs, Rhonda Wehling and Ethan Ward were awesome! They are inspirational, knowledgeable and encouraging. So much so that I was willing to drive from Wichita two times a week for the classes. All 3 of these people are great representatives of Hutchinson regional! I would also like to recognize Jorge Semintal in Pulmonary. He takes the time to listen and explain everything for you. I've never felt rushed or unimportant. What a great team Hutchinson Regional has in these 4 people! So impressed!

My husband Lon was cared for like he was important and that was much appreciated. This doctor was one of the kindest caring people I have ever met. What a lovely lady and very compassionate person. She made a very hard experience bearable for both my husband and myself, I will never forget her and always be thankful for her kindness and wisdom. What a blessing she is. Truly one of a kind.

Christopher and the staff have gone out of their way to accommodate me and my needs. They have made sure to take the time to answer all of my questions and to make sure that I know exactly what is going on with my health care plans. No rushing through anything or trying to push me into decisions without talking about sideffects or concerns about medicines, or treatments. I look forward to continuing to be seen as a long-term patient. I am totally happy with the care that I am receiving from my caregivers, nurses, doctors, PA'S even lab technicians have been great. Christopher is very knowledgeable and not overwhelmed by my various health issues. He's willing to help with everything and to bring in additional help with issues that may require specialized assistance.
