I only gave one star for the nursing staff. The doctors were very disrespectful to me and my family they called my dad fat, said that he was making up excuses, and told him he has to leave his job to make lifestyle changes when he is busy he can't leave very easily this hospital is pathetic but thank you nurses for doing better than the doctors

If I could give this place a zero I would! Their billing department are incompetent! They sent my account to collections but have been sending my bill to the retirement facility instead of my home address. My name was incorrect and the previous agent stated they billed incorrectly that she will take it up to their supervisor and contact me. Well that was almost two months ago! Prior to that phone call about 3 and a half months ago I offered to pay them and not collections. They said I didn't have a bill. The second time I got a letter from the collections agency again I called Hays Med to pay them again and that's when the lady said she will take it up to the supervisor due to billing error and she will contact me and provide update and contact the collections agency to stop sending those mails. But everytime I call they never have information of my phone calls or conversation. Therefore, their recorded line is hoax! I offered to pay my bill this final time as I didn't want to deal with them any longer. They're incompetent and I feel like they send your account to collections to possibly extort money from their patients due to their incompetence in sending claims through insurance. I would drive the 2 hours and go to Wichita or go elsewhere.

I give a one rating because of female doc that was on and did ABSOLUTELY NOTHING! Right down to including starving my husband over 24hrs , refused to give reg meds that couldn't be abruptly stopped thru him into withdraw which caused nausea and wanted to give him something for it . Insisted he was NPO refused him drink and or ice chips agsin over 24hrs . Then wanted to double stack insulin on top of it . Very very dangerous!!! My husband was ready to AMA himself due to the extreme neglect/abuse . Was not happy at all ........

The ER staff has been fantastic the last few visits I've had to make. I had a cath procedure done this last time and two days later in the groin area became the size of a golf ball then half of the size of a baseball. I could barely walk due to pain. They stopped the bleeding and admitted me. The nurses on the Cardiac floor were fantastic as well. Then a week later back to the ER for pain in the same area and had a A-Fib episode. They took care of that as well. Fantastic ER couldn't be happier. The one older ER nurse on one of the visits said several times she needs to retire when I asked how her day was going when she wheeled me in for a test. I suggest she does. As far as all others absolutely exceptional!!!

I was in the hospital for 8 days. They where all such wonderful people. Thank you for the care you gave to me.
