I don't know what the previous reviewers experience was; but, Dr. Val was my dad's doctor for many many years and he was the most wonderful, helpful, knowledgeable and caring cardiologist I have ever met and probably ever will have the opportunity to meet. He was an angel and a God-send to my dad and to our family. Our journey with Dr. Val started after dad's bout with cancer and the incredible damage that chemo caused; it damaged his heart, his kidneys, his vascular system and his brain. Dr. Val was simply, absolutely invaluable to giving us and dad 10 years of reasonable life; then, of course, no more could be done and Dr. Val was with us at the end. He will forever have my gratitude and my love for having cared so much for my dad and my family. You have no idea what Dr. Val helped us through; dad was a first trial pacemaker recipient from a major hospital, the first AV node kill for Dr. Val at Wesley Med Center; Dr. Val was and I am sure still is simply a wonder. And, I/my mom (deceased) also deeply appreciated his wife getting him to the phone when there was a late call from us. She was always very calm, caring and helpful, interested and willing.
