I was admitted twice during the month of November. I had some incredible nurses and workers who took care of me. Audie. . Jordan, Candace, and Caitlin Adria were ny main nurses . NEVER i did they make me feel like a nuisance, nervefr made me wait for medicine or for anything I needed. Dietary staff was very friendly adn so was lab staff They made this not so good situation into a great one. Sonny and Aubrey were amazing care techs they went above and beyond, as well as Madi who is so sweet and caring who went above amd beyond... definitely all assets to this hospital Dr Ignacio was such a kind sweet empathetic doctor who i wish could be my main hes so amazong. I wojld recommend this hospital time and time again

I miss the old Mercy. I waited for over 4 hrs for updates on my mom in post op. Each hour I walked to the nurses station and got different answers. None satisfying and each passing hour it became clear that their process has no advocate or champion for the patient or their family. This place is like a ghost town of forgotten toys.

The skinny nurse with the white and blue dreadlocks treated me like I was an inconvenience to the emergency room last night. I have fibromyalgia and I couldn't wear anything on my upper back and so I wore a tube top shirt that went to my hips but she acted like I came in there naked. Instead of seeing me next as I had been waiting, she skipped me and picked the next person that came in there. She could have seen me and asked me to wait back out in the waiting room. Fibromyalgia pain is debilitating and my medication that I was taking just stopped working. The other nurse, that I had that had blonde hair was so gentle and accommodating for me. She knew that I was miserable.

We have been in the waiting room of the ER for almost 4 hours waiting to be seen. Guy at the front desk was nice enough, I know it is not his fault and he explained wait times are based on acuity, but coming to the ER for potential cardiac issue you would think thats a little higher on the list. Save your time, literally, and go to the main hospital.

Patient

Horrible bedside manor. Every time my wife comes in for any reason, she gets treated like a second class citizen, and none of her complaints are taken seriously. She gets refused any medications stronger than Tylenol or ibuprofen and gets sent home after hours of nothing.
