Mercy Cardiology Clinic

Subsequent visits have e been really good. So far not a good experience. I get off of work and show up on time but the doctor canceled our appointment ten minutes before I arrived. Then on top of it MyChart app said cancel reason is "patient". My wife is pissed I have heart issues and I don't need this stress.

The doctor looked annoyed he had to talk with me wouldn't listen to anything I had to say just said your fine and he could give me medicine if I wanted but probably didn't need it then left said see you in three months then the nurse said you can leave and go back to work or whatever you where doing before you came here and left the room very rude and don't care about there patients that's pretty obvious don't recommend at all.

I needed to have a question answered about interactions of a new drug I was prescribed and my heart medicine. The on-call doctor was very rude, short, and hung up on me. I will be looking else where for a cardiologist!!

I arrived at 7:07 for an appt because I went across the street accidentally for appt to Mercy radiology. The front desk lady sat there for 12 mins doing noting but messaging people then says I'm over 15 mins late. Had to reschedule. It's so hard for Black people to get adequate health care in this area I am moving to a more ethnically friendly medical city. This isn't the first time I'm encountered adverse medical care here. They gent in front of me was in line waiting for over 15 mins and he was rescheduled too, Black man. The guy behind me said sorry I'm late and got a "don't worry". I didn't stick around to see if he went in but I wrote this in the parking lot and he didn't come out so it seems he was seen. Removing DEI doesn't mean remove medical care from Black people.

They are always friendly and patient with my 93 year old father. The new center is well designed and there's plenty of parking.
