He was ready to release me from the hospital and said my heart was fine until I myself asked for a heart catheter and they found 5 blockages. And then when he did the catheter he kept hurting me and I was screaming that he was and he kept saying it wasn't going to hurt anymore but it did.He said that like 7 times before he was done. I was in pain from it for over two weeks.

My sister seen him for approximately 9 years as her heart doctor. Since day 1 he out her on a BP med that she thought was the cause of her not being able to drive, or live a normal life due to dizziness. She kept telling him her symptoms and said it was her BP and would just continue to up the same medicine instead of trying a new medication. After years of him walking into the room during appointments, not listening and being in there maybe 5 minutes and walking out, as well as her family doctor, neither listened to her symotoms. We have found her a new doctor and they now have her on a BP pill that is regulating her BP at much lower doses and have found out that she is diabetic and has hormone issues.. She spent 9 years trying to tell Namburi something was wrong as well as her family doctor. Because of her new doctor she is on the road to recovery and hopefully there is no kidney damage from being diabetic and it not being caught. She doesn't in fact have heart issues, she has a healthy heart. Namburi doesn't listen to his patients as she was begging for help. She couldn't get out and do normal every day activities because he was to busy rushing her out of the room and just increasing her meds.. I do not recommend him at all...

I've seen Dr. Namburi in the past for heart palpitations (this was about 6-7 years ago). He told me my heart was fine and took me off of my medication, he told me it was normal that my heart beat as fast as it does and told me that I had anxiety and that I'd be fine. Flash forward a year, I ended up at Vanderbilt in their Cardiac Surgery department for mitral valve regurgitation and a resting heart beat of 144. I'm fine now, no thanks to Dr. Namburi.
Flash forward to today, he walked into my grandmother's room (she's in the hospital for various ongoing health issues) and says she needs to be put into a nursing home because clearly no one at home is taking good care of her or she wouldn't be in and out of the hospital. This is the same doctor who is unable to come up with any solutions to my grandmother's health issues and lets her go home. How can a doctor expect a family to come up with the answers that he can't come up with himself?? I'm so sick of the God-complex that doctors like Dr. Namburi have. It's time to look in the mirror and realize that you don't know everything. You should never talk to a patient the way that he spoke to my grandmother. He's rude, dismissive, pessimistic, and everything that a caretaker SHOULDN'T be.
Do NOT waste your time.

There have been some bumps in the road BUT Dr. Namburi and his staff bend over backwards to help their patients!
