Dr W appears to be very knowledgeable but could be a better listener. I will seek a second opinion, particularly on the question of ablation, which he is ruling out on account of my age (86). His first examination of me showed no abnormalities other than Afib. My research says, given the risks that apply regardless of age, that ablation may be considered in the absence of comorbidities. I will seek a second opinion. Dr W is also ruling out pulse rate regulation (not the same as rhythm regulation) with medication, which I also question.
