Went to the ER tonight and Dr. Adam Trammel made me feel like I was just wasting his time. 0 bedside manner. I went in pain and left in pain and frustrated. Talked to me like my condition shouldn't be hurting how it does and then just left the room before I could really ask any questions. I got up and left while the nurse looked at me like "where are you going?" He never told me that anyone would be back to see me. He just said "feel better" and walked away.
Honestly, I've had good experiences with Riverview Health and at this hospital with myself and my family. In my opinion, Dr. Trammel just doesn't have the compassion that the calling that is medical practice requires.
Update
I got the results of my scans. Dr. Trammel made it a point to say 3 times that my arthritis was "mild" while he was being dismissive about my pain level.
My results clearly say "moderate".
There's mild, moderate, and severe.
I even told him, "how is it possible that my arthritis has gotten better? It used to be severe."
He replied "it can be at the discretion of the person reading the scan but it's not severe"
It left me thinking, how can one person see it as severe, and another as mild? That it can be between severe and moderate makes more sense than severe and mild.
So, on top of everything, he misrepresented my results. This revelation makes me want to report him to the medical board.

We had such a great experience at Riverview Hospital in Noblesville today! We had two separate tests scheduled, one in cardiology and one in pulmonary, and both departments were absolutely wonderful.
Shoutout to Emilee, the cardiologist RN, who performed the tilt table test, was so kind and made us feel calm and comfortable throughout the entire process.
Then we went to the pulmonary department, where Ellen did the pulmonary function testing for asthma. She was equally kind, patient, and professional. She helped my daughter feel calm and comfortable the entire time as well!
We were helped right away for both tests, had no wait time at all, and were in and out of each appointment in under 45 minutes. It was such a smooth, stress-free experience from start to finish. Huge thank you to the Riverview team for being so efficient, caring, and compassionate!

If I could give it 0 stars, I would. This week was the 2nd time I've had to be admitted to Riverview. I will NOT be back, again. The night shift nurse, Paula was rude to me everytime she spoke to me. Day shift Drs (2) told me in front of my dayshift nurse, Chris, that I could have both pain meds until I was able to keep solids down. Night shift Dr was incredibly rude to me when I asked to speak to him. He told me I would have to deal with the pain bc & I quote "I could not order pain meds" which I never did. I asked when I was gonna be able to get more meds & the nurse looked at me & said, we just gave you meds about an hr ago. So I told her what the day shift nurse said. She started arguing with me & then brought the night shift dr to argue with me. This is the 2nd time I've come here & leave in worse pain then.what I came in with. I left AMA & will never go back. I told them that I was at an 8 ok the pain scale. I was ignored. I would rather die, then go back.

I saw Dr. Arnett and had one of the most disappointing medical experiences I've ever had. She asked the standard questions but quickly got sidetracked with unrelated issues and spent only a few minutes on the main reason for my visit; dismissing it by saying I was "too healthy," with no discussion of alternatives or next steps.
She ordered several tests for minor concerns that all came back normal, yet none of my real issues were addressed. When I followed up, I was advised to cut tomatoes and similar foods out of my diet. That response felt dismissive and unprofessional.
I'm still dealing with the same health problems I came in for, with no plan or support. For a women's health specialist, I expected empathy and collaboration - not disregard for genuine patient concerns.

So I went to riverview urgent care for lower abdominal pain. Come to find out I had appendicitis! I was sent to riverview health and my experience was great! I did infact opt in for surgery and the nursing team was great, have to throw a shout out to Tammy. My doctor was very well informed and made the process clear and easy to understand. The surgery was more complicated so I had to stay overnight, but the nurses in recovery were more than accommodating! They really saved me from a dangerous situation. I would go back again in the future. Thanks again to everyone.
