Came to the er for chest pain & the doctor Erik was very dismissive. They sent me home saying everything was fine... a week later still chest pain and it's worse and swollen area..... not only when they sent me home my blood pressure was high. They didn't do the test I asked them to perform they did the bare minimum! Nurses got attitudes when you call and try and explain. Terrible ... don't let your insurance not be the best. They do not care. However when my daughter was there about 3 days after me she had an amazing doctor and great team of nurses. I guess it depends on who is working! Would not recommend

I had a procedure done recently and I want to start with Dr Anoop Appannagari he is the best GI Dr in NWI. My Nurses on the Main GI floor, Meggin, Stephanie, Karen, and Ashley were amazing!!!!!!! Meggin and Stephanie went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable. Meggin even left me something funny to wake up to after my procedure. I was born at this hospital and it will always be the hospital I recommend people to go to. I've always had great care here.

Nursing staff is great. Employees are great. Clean safe environment stay far away!!! I have lung cancer this is where Dr. Suite Lia sent me there half in dust bunny's hanging from the ceiling.This is not what a clean safe environment is. Munster Health Department please step in and make this (hospital) keep house properly or close it down.

Normally I would give this hospital 3 stars. I do go here regularly for testing, procedures, and the occasional ER visit to get a migraine cocktail. Typically staff is nice, the doctors in the ER can be jerks. So this past 4th of July, it took a lot for me to go in because I really don't like the doctors in the ER, but I go here because to me it's like the next level to the immediate care center. Anyway, on the 4th I was in excruciating pain and went in because I had already been to the immediate care center a few days prior without alleviation to my pain. When I was first brought in, they brought me to an intake room that they put small priority cases in to treat. I knew then they were not going to take me seriously. The nurses did their jobs and checked me in. Then a MA came in to treat me. Of course I was not happy about this. I believe her name was Deana. I couldn't have been more wrong. While at first I was sure I was going to be immediately discharged, she decided to go with her gut and do some further testing. I couldn't be happier that she did. While the outcome was not life threatening it was still a shock as to what was causing my debilitating pain. It was something neither of us expected to find out and not even what she was testing for. The point is she took her time and actually listened to me and believed me, the went with her gut that I wasn't lying. This is how I usually feel when I go to their ER. I would switch to Community but they get the bigger more involved cases.

2nd time this year as an outpatient at the Endoscopy Clinic. Both time, staff has been courteous, kind, efficient, and competent. Shout out to CNA Annie. She's a gem. Works a crowded waiting room with grace and kindness. Cannot speak for anyone but myself, but obviously I would recommend
