Patient
If I could give lower than one star, I would. This man berated my sick mother because she's overweight, and he just assumed that was the cause of all her health issues. He dismissed all of her concerns and went immediately into diet and exercise. (Like her first provider wouldn't have already gone over that?) and got hostile when she tried to ask specific questions. She used to be very active until she started to get intense migraines when her heart rate would rise, and has struggled with losing weight even while exercising more and eating healthier than me (i'm average weight). Being overweight is very often due to pre-existing conditions, whether mental or physical. All doctors should give the same care and have the same empathy to all of their patients. To have this attitude about people who are overweight as a health professional is just embarrassing. I can't imagine treating anyone that way, especially a struggling patient. What goes around eventually comes back around, ugly man. Be better.
