My daughter went for an evaluation for tonsils removed. Dr. Tarin was in the room for less than 3 minutes, heard she was sick a handful of times in the year and looked at her throat. Said she qualified because of illness but her tonsils weren't very enlarged. We schedule for surgery. We went to pre-op appointment and was told they would send pain meds to the pharmacy and was given a handout about how the surgery is performed. Nothing about after surgery care. Nothing about what I would need on-hand for comfort. We go to surgery. From the time they started rolling her out of pre-op to the Dr being completely scrubbed back out and into the waiting area was 33 minutes. They said start pain meds when we got home. I pulled the bottle of meds out and realize they only gave her 3 days worth of pain meds to administer every 6 hours. When I called the on-call doctor at 9pm the said I could go get ibuprofen. No one told me to have that on hand. I call the dr office the next day (I called at 9am and didn't get a call back until 4pm) and they said she was dosed correctly for dose and strength and they would not provide me with more and the nurse tried to tell me to use Tylenol and not ibuprofen. I reached out to our pharmacist and they confirmed she was under dosed for her weight by 30# (nearly 1/2 the dose she should have) and they have it for every 6 hours instead of every 4-6 hours. My daughter was absolutely miserable for the entire 2 weeks because they made it seem like they didn't care when I explained how much pain she was in. We were doing pain meds every 3-4 hours like clock work (she was in miserable pain before that time even came around) the entire recovery period. When we went to the post-op appointment, which I wasn't going to go since it was an entire month out from surgery anyways but we needed the ok for something else, the NP asked how it was. I said 2 weeks of hell. She said if she was feeling better now. That's literally it. She didn't can what happened or for any other information. I would NEVER recommend this practice.

I had my husband at the Highland office. The staff there were awesome! So caring, friendly and helpful.
This was are first time to
Dr. Cmejrek. He is a great person. He listed with care and answered all our questions. As busy as I know he was we never felt rushed.
I am so happy we picked him to go to. Thank you!!

Stear clear of this place unless you like rolling of the eyes, disrespect, and no return phone calls. 5 min interaction with the doctor." Hey, you need surgery any questions? go to the front desk?" Told that I needed EKG n blood work. I said recently had it done. rolling begins. We'll see. Never got that call or any others. Not one phone call EVER picked up or returned. Had to communicate through MY CHART 10 days prior to surgery, hoping maybe the doctor would respond. Shame on Dr Tarin! It never happened. Same person that doesn't return calls runs that too. Finally 9 days prior to surgery with zero information and 100% frustration, I canceled. Next day got a call, left a message cuz I was at work. Wanted to give information now? Forget it. I'm going to find a different doctor. This is the worst facility I've ever been to in my 61 years of life! Wasted alot of time. I can't believe others put up with this, they need us. We don't need them. There is always a better doctor and facility. (I came here for ringing of the ears, turned into repairing of deviated septum)

I am a patient of Dr. Czmejrek. He's a great Doctor. I really like him and his nurse. I have recommend him to family or friends in need of a ENT Dr.
The office staff is always helpful when I've called or come in for a visit.
I recently had an allergy test done with nurse Teressa. She was so informative and explained every single step of the test, took the time to answer all of my questions and made me feel comfortable and informed the entire time.

I suffered with severe sinus infections for the last. 20 years or more. Last summer I had 5 sinus infections between Memorial Day and Labor Day. Each one seemed worse than the last. I finally decided something had to be done. I called CarePointe and scheduled a consultation. At that consultation Dr. said my sinuses were a mess. I said I know. We scheduled a Balloon Sinuplasty on Halloween. The procedure took about 20 minutes and I felt virtually nothing. I was a bit woozy on the ride home, but everything went as Dr. Tarin said it would. I had minor bleeding for a few days, and initially I was a bit disappointed because I did not see much difference for a couple weeks. I still had constant drainage. But I used the meds that were prescribed and after a few weeks things started to improve. In 2024 I had probably 12 sinus infections requiring antibiotics and steroids to get rid of it. Since the procedure I have had one sinus infection, in February, and none since. I highly recommend CarePointe to anyone I talk to who suffer with Sinus infections.
