Arshad Malik MD

Dr. Malik came highly recommended from my family physician. My family physician told me that Dr. Malik is who he sent his own elderly parents to. Personally, I switched from a Cardiologist who only wanted to see me every 2 years and then would only use a stethoscope to listen to my heart for a couple minutes and send me on my way. Whereas Dr. Malik prefers to see me every 3 to 6 months depending on how my heart is functioning and performs all relevant testing that is needed at each visit. He even took the time to go over all of the test results, echocardiograms, etc. so that I understand what is going on with my heart and what, if any, remedial options are available to me so that I can make informed decision. So, yes! I very highly recommend Dr. Malik as a Cardiologist because he is thorough with his diagnoses, and when necessary, he is aggressive when treatment is necessary.

New patient of Dr Malik. He took time to go over my chart when I was in hospital. Scheduled a two week follow up in his office. He was very detailed and explained his reasoning for changing my meds. He asked questions took time to get to know me and everything I had going on over the years.

I've been treated by Dr. Malik for over 15 years now. He's brought me through many obstacles. He's the absolute greatest. He's a compassionate doctor and that's rare these days plus he's a genius. Also Sherri Hernandez, NP is a great asset to Dr. Malik. She's always makes time for your questions. You're not just a patient or a name on a list. She cares about you and it shows.... shes also a genius. Office personnel group is also helpful, knowledgeable and always friendly. There's no medical office better. You'd be lucky to be treated by this medical team.

Dr. Malik is not a quality doctor. He does not provide good information during his visits. He gets upset when you ask questions and does not give good reasons to procedures he recommends. The billing department won't send you a single bill and then they will send you to collections. I would recommend you find a doctor who is able to utilize newer practices rather than old techniques. Don't waste your time and money with this office. Other health care workers have given me horror stories about this doctor. Save your life and go elsewhere.

He's a wonderful doctor to go to. He understand. Take his time with you and take one step at a time real friendly in the office. Been going there for over 15 years.
