Dr. Pessanha is a cardiologist who is extremely thorough with new patients. He ordered several test for a baseline, adjusted medications to ensure the least amount needed was being taken, and prescribed a safer drug to replace a current one as new research had just come out regarding this. He stays well-informed with the latest research and communicates wonderfully with the elderly never talking to the caregiver, but addressing the individual directly then looking to the caregiver affording the opportunity for questions. Staff is fabulous and appear to be long-term showing that he has a great relationship with them so they do not need to find a better work environment. I like the fact that his practicing hospitals are in So. Bend.
