Dr Walts was professional, explained everything where we understood. He took all the time needed and answered all questions. As with all the Ascension St Vincent Doctors you can put your trust in there decision and care

At my initial consultation with Dr Walts he was professional and well prepared to discuss treatment options for my heart issues. He had reviewed my imaging studies and discussed my case with the referring cardiologist as well as other specialists.

I came to this hospital because I was having a heart issue, found out that I needed a bypass operation. Dr. Peter Walt's performed a quadruple bypass surgery on me, that was March 11, 2011. I was age 74 at that time. Now I am nearing 88 and feeling and doing fine.All my systems seem to be working great, even my mind! Dr. Walt's performed a fantastic job as did the entire care team at St Vincent. Just wanted to thank the good doctor and everyone that helped me back to good health! Dr Waltz is amazing! He's very talented has a great bed side manner and saved my life! His RN on the other hand was awful! Her energy was bad from the moment she entered the room. I admit maybe I was awkward and nervous; using humor to cope with the fact I needed a quadruple bypass done. I made a joke about how my heart was broken I didn't have any cellulite, like I said awkward and she asked me how much plastic I had in me as she walked away. I A) don't have any plastic i. e. Implants or anything B) I am offended and don't believe I deserved that.even with what I felt because of my interaction with this RN I would still highly recommend Dr. Waltz!

Dr Walts is a excellent heart surgeon and his team does a great job.
