Dr. Elsner was very rude refused to talk to family to answer any questions on why he made the decisions he did. Refused to allow another cardiovascular surgeon to evaluate for a second opinion. This was one of the worst hospitals stays we have ever had with multiple failures by very disconnected staff. Nobody wants to own their decisions but just want to discharge.

He's brilliant, composed , confident and spoke to my dad with patience. We drove from atlanta for a second opinion on his heart failure issues. Cardiac Cath was done and dr Elsner does not jump the gun and just "stent ." The heart valves were looked at in detail, a deeper assessment made. Worth the time and investment. You won't go wrong he's excellant
