We visited Lurie Children's at NM Central DuPage Hospital Pediatric Outpatient Center Endocrinology & Diabetes to see Dr. Mary McCauley, and we had a wonderful experience. Everyone was kind and professional, especially the lady at the front desk who gave clear directions and was very helpful.
We did some lab tests and an X-ray -everything went quickly and smoothly. We're very happy with the care and the whole visit. Thank you, Dr. McCauley and the team, for your kindness and great service!

My experience with Central DuPage Hospital outpatient surgery was excellent! From the very beginning, everyone I came into contact with, either on the phone or in-person, was so kind, knowledgeable, and professional. The day went very quickly and smoothly and I felt cared for and safe. My husband was kept informed every step of the way and we both felt listened to and accommodated. The facility was very clean and didn't even smell like a hospital. I received great care for all of my needs before I even needed to ask. I have had experiences with other hospitals in the past and Central DuPage was by far the best. I definitely recommend this facility and highly skilled doctors, nurses, and staff.

I recently came to Central DuPage Hospital for an induction, and I can confidently say it was an amazing experience from start to finish. Hands down, this is the best hospital I've ever encountered.
The labor and delivery nurses and doctors were absolutely phenomenal. They made my delivery experience feel whole, peaceful, and as close to painless as I could have imagined. Dr. Cullen, Nurse Melissa, and both Nurses Michelle were remarkable in every way--compassionate, patient, and attentive to every detail.
Thank you all so much for calming me through the process, being patient with me, and helping me through the delivery. Your reassurance and encouragement that I could do this gave me strength when I needed it most. Because of your guidance, I overcame one of my biggest fears, and what I once imagined as overwhelming became one of the most beautiful and peaceful experiences of my life.
My anesthesiologist was incredible--she took the time to explain every step of my epidural process, ensuring I felt informed, comfortable, and calm. The mother and baby team continued that same level of excellence, providing care that was nothing short of angelic. The peace, reassurance, and genuine warmth they offered were unmatched.
As a clinical social worker, it truly touched my heart to witness firsthand how far the nurses and doctors go to make sure every patient feels respected, heard, and supported. The compassion, professionalism, and empathy that the Central DuPage Hospital team demonstrates set a new standard for patient-centered care.
I also deeply appreciated how the staff respected my holistic background--educating me, listening to my concerns, and helping me feel comfortable and confident in every decision. Because of their care, I was able to trust my providers completely and approach my birth experience with peace and gratitude.
To the entire Central DuPage Hospital team, thank you for making this one of the most beautiful and empowering experiences of my life. Your dedication and kindness will never be forgotten.

If I could give negative stars I would. After an 8hr wait in the ER, they finally take us in because I pleaded with them about my situation and got in a room to just wait and hear the nurses complain about their patients.
Then I had to once again ask for assistance bc NO ONE had come to check on us. The charge nurse finally comes in and is completely condescending. It seemed that no one knew what we were there for at first and no one cared. I even heard a nurse talk about me in a non professional and offensive way.
We stayed bc we needed answers and help. We got the answers but not the help.
Even at the end they were so awful and just the most callous group of people I have EVER met.
The DMV has been more understanding and kind than this whole ER.
If you have a choice please go anywhere else.

For many years, we have been very satisfied with the quality of medical care we have received at Northwestern Medicine Central Dupage Hospital. However, recently we have experienced a growing frustration with the congestion at the outpatient entrance. On one side of two lanes are valet parked vehicles and on the other side are trucks unloading supplies, Pace buses and ambulances. There is barely any room at all to drop off patients safely to access their medical care. What's more, this ill-conceived plan especially affects those who are disabled and need to use a walker or wheelchair. To avert a potentially hazardous outcome, something needs to be done sooner rather than later.
