I have always been one to speak praises of Endeavor and our family's health care team. We've had lab work done at this location before and shrugged off the long waits. However, yesterday's visit to this lab left us extremely upset and we will not return to this location for lab services.
My 15 month old had a routine order. Upon arrival, we completed the mobile check-in and, via the app, were instructed to go to the reception desk to complete check-in. We waited in line for 20 minutes to check-in with the receptionist.
Once in the lab, the phlebotomist looked at my husband and I and coarsely asked, "Which one of you is holding her arm down?". Further unprofessional and blunt comments continued as she attempted to prep my daughter's arm, including: "Are you actually going to hold her arm?" and "If you let her arm move, you're going to the hospital". I asked if she could take blood from her foot or finger and was told "only the hospital can do that". While I can understand that working with a toddler to complete blood work is challenging, there was absolutely no bedside manner, patience, flexibility, or common courtesy.

Warning: Do NOT use the online appointment system for this location (or for any locations within Endeavor Health). My daughter made an appointment via their online appoint system and, after weeks of waiting and finally arriving on site for the appointment, was told that the doctor was not accepting any new patient. The receptionist said it was a known issue in their system and simply sent her away. We are back to square one with her search for a new physician, which takes months these days. Endeavor Health is no longer on her list.

Getting a lab order completed used to be very easy and convenient through NorthShore Labs. Now...it's terribly inconvenient, with limited hours (no evening hours). They say they accept walk-ins, but then still turn you away because they don't have any more walk-in appts.
When you have lab orders to complete that become very uncomfortable when delayed in completing - this doesn't work.
I love my doctor, but I need to find a better option, due to this limitation.

I had an appointment and used directions given to me by Endeavor. The directions took me to a Walgreens Store. When I finally figured out where the office was by myself because there was no one to call for directions I was told at 15 mins late that I'd have to reschedule. I was also told that the office had given out wrong directions in the past. It would have been nice to get a call or heads up about this issue. Then of course the not very nice receptionist was not helpful in rescheduling. Do not go to Vernon Hills location.

Had a lab appointment. I arrived early, was taken early and had a great phlebotomist. She was friendly and very quick. I forget her name but I appreciate her.
