Loyola Medicine Tinley Park

I called to make an appointment to see a neurologist at Loyola I was told no referral was needed and I did have X-RAYS from another hospitals emergency room. I was scheduled to see a Jessica Wilson and I made my appointment. She asked to see my medical records or imaging I was in the process of sending the X-rays and she told me to just go back to the facility that seen me because they already had the records. She was rude and inconsiderate of my pain and the trip in the freezing cold was absolutely for nothing just to bill my insurance for an unnecessary visit. I think she's rude and condescending and she makes her own rules. This is why this facility has such a poor reputation and ratings!

The staff is polite, but I dont think that political items should be displayed. I have never seen politics displayed in ANY other medical center, Dr's office etc that Ive visited, this is in the check in area. Also, there is one race that Ive never seen represented in the numerous employees Ive encountered, which makes me feel out of place.

Not my usual Drs. office just an urgent appt. and was given the worse front desk service. Not sure if they all get paid to JUST do there job!!! In all fairness I'm referring only to the 2nd floor, 1st desk by the stairs!

The receptionist, Lisa, was absolutely sweet and super helpful. Talking to her calmed my nerves a lot leading up to me meeting the neurologist for the first time. The neurologist, Dr Wilson, on the other hand, made my visit an embarrassing nightmare. She had very little empathy and spent more time trying to talk down to me about self medicating for pain management than she did actually examining me. When I got overwhelmed and frustrated, she seemed to get annoyed and impatient with me. As if I'm not coming to her because something is wrong. Her vibe was "well whatever is wrong with you isn't in my department so whatever." At one point she started questioning me about a symptom in a judgmental manner. I felt so embarrassed for something completely out of my control! She had interrupted my partner, who was sitting in on my appointment and speaking up for me when I was clearly overwhelmed. And didn't even apologize! Just continued on. When our appointment was finally done, she didn't even walk us to the exit, which so many Drs would do. She just kinda motioned in the direction to go and walked away. Left my partner and I so pissed and overwhelmed. The building is nice, the receptionist was nice, the nurse was nice enough. But Dr Wilson? Completely ruined my day with her sour vibes and takes. I'm sure she's very competent but the lack of empathy completely ruined it. I'll be taking what little helpful information she gave me, building off of it with a second opinion from someone else.

Wonderful staff at this location. Lisa Rodriguez, receptionist at the front desk went above and beyond helping me get a quick appointment and follow up. From medical assistant to x-ray technician to orthopedic surgeon, Dr. Lawley, all were professional and kind. Highly recommend visiting this location.
