Oak Street Health yes is very clean nice facility. Most staff members are friendly. I met a couple of great technicians. However my experience with Dr. Jabeen Aqueel was not positive from the get go. I called in for a appointment because I had a pain in my ribs by my heart. And I have been experiencing crucial pain in my legs. Muscle spasms. Sometimes in both legs at the same time. Very painful. The problem with Dr. Aqueel is I seem to never be seen by her for my real issues. It was always being told to me that's not what your here for. First visit was a meet and greet. Really? Second visit was blood work. Third was something unrelated. In 5 months we never got to the reason I called to be seen in the first place. Another issue I had with her is she was constantly calling Walgreens to order a prescription for me for things like Flonese, regular Tylenol things I did not need a prescription for. And I had not even gone to see her when she order these prescription. My last visit I was never even seen. I had a appointment. I was told to come in earlier. When I got there I was told she was running a few minutes behind. Not a half hour or a hour behind but just a few minutes. I had other things to take care of on my day off of work. I sat there for 50 min before walking out. That's a ridiculous amount of time when there was no emergency keeping her tied up. I felt she purposely made me wait because I had complained to staff about her. So when I got home I called my insurance company to let them know I was never seen by her that day and that she should not be paid by them when she tries telling them she had a visit with me. I also let them know about all the unnecessary prescriptions to tried to have Walgreens fill but I kept denying them because I never needed them. I have Flonase and Tylenol and Allergy medicine right at home. My insurance company found me another doctor. I thank the Lord for that. I did not have insurance for over 15 years. The first time I go to the doctor and that was my experience. I would not recommend her to my enemies. Sound cruel? The truth hurts sometimes. Facts are facts and others need to know so hopefully they don't have the same experience. Maybe she will change her attitude and be more professional from now on.
