I usually don't leave reviews but I has an awful experience! Going here for a simple physical felt like I was going to a teaching hospital. First student came to take my blood pressure and had to try 3 times because she didn't know how to properly do it. Eventually I had to explain to her how to wrap the cuff because she was basically cutting off my circulation and then getting error messages. Next, I felt uncomfortable having a different student in the room watching while having a Pap smear. It is already an uncomfortable thing to do and this made it worse. Doctor stated she wasn't comfortable doing a pelvic exam;however, all my primary care physicians would do it in the past. Asked to get my records faxed to a fertility clinic yet 2 weeks later nothing was sent. When I followed up, they said doctor is away Friday-Sunday and didn't leave any documentation so I had to wait till the doctor is back to document on a physical I had almost 3 weeks ago. Got a phone call from the clinic 3 hours later saying they just read the visit summary and everything is actually on there. Ridiculous!!!! Need better trained staff. Healthcare has turned into a joke.

Dr. Askari is great. She is very knowledgeable and always makes sure your concerns are being addressed. I never feel rushed and I've never had to sit around in the waiting room a ridiculously long time to see the doctor. If you live in the area, don't hesitate to make her your primary care physician. You won't be disappointed.

Doctor Ruhi Askari, MD is a very caring doctor. I have had a lot of doctors in my life, she is the best of them all. You start feeling better just through talking to her. I will strongly recommend Doctor Ruhi Askari to everyone looking for a great Physician.

Dr. Askari was amazing! She was referred to me by my mother, (Dr. Askari was first present when my mother was in the hospital) and I have been referring her to anyone that's in need of a GREAT doctor. She spent time answering my questions, she is compassionate, warm, personable, kind, and very intuitive about my medical history. I'm in the medical field myself and I felt great about having Dr. Askari as my doctor. =)

Dr. Askari was assigned to my Mother when she was taken by ambulance to NWCH. My mother has a myriad of complex health issues. Dr. Askari was excellent in communication with our entire family. She is very compassionate and knowledgeable. Outstanding bedside manner. I have a strong medical background and she was on top of everything. NWCH does provide great care to their patients as well. I would highly recommend her to anyone.
