On Friday August 26, 2016, around 8pm, I had an ascending and descending aortic aneurysm rupture at the same time. I got to Pekin ER about 11pm, by 6:30am on the 27th they determined that I needed to get into surgery asap, somewhere else. They took me to St. Francis in Peoria. Dr. Ciaburri performed the surgery to repair the aorta and replaced my aortic valve. I owe my life to the skill and experience of this man and his surgical team. To Dr. Ciaburri, I hope to be able to thank you in person some day for saving my life. Your "miracle man", Frank Pierson
