Chicago Cardiology Institute

Although they are nice ,I really like the place but really have a hard time getting my own test results . I have a procedure to do and I can't do it . Yet first they said after you see Doctor about results then you can get a copy . Well I felt like I got the runaround and still walked out with no results it is so frustrating. I have a right to them but it's like pulling teeth what's up I guess I really need to think if being seen at this office is worth the aggravation and me getting stressed out . If planning to go here also be prepared to spend hours . I went in at 11:15 appt for 11:30 I did not get out of there til 2pm and that's that I walked out cause the person that was drawing blood spent over 20minutes trying to draw blood when I left it's a simple task.

They are a good cardiology clinic. I have mostly had a good experience regarding the staff and billing and the level of care I've received. I'd probably give them 5 stars but they recommended a sleep study. They said they would do the sleep study but after I completed it I found out they use a 3rd party with their own separate billing, staff and portal. At no point was I informed of this and while they like to act like they have integrated care, they don't. The sleep study has been a miserable experience where nobody at the cardiologist seem to know anything about appointments and the sleep clinic staff has frankly been unreliable. I would have much rather they refer me to a local sleep clinic than pretend they offer this care themselves and instead bait and switch me with a 3rd party office an hour away with poor service. Go for cardiology services. Do not use their sleep study services if they recommend one.

My mother-in-law trusts Dr Sager! He put her pacemaker in and is always available to answer our questions. Highly recommend!
