Very poor scheduling by the staff. I told them exactly what my doctor had referred me to have done and instead of doing the procedure they wasted my time and gave me a 10 minute new patient appointment. Now I have to wait almost a whole month to have the actual procedure done that was originally scheduled prescribed. If I didn't have hmo I wouldn't return, but thanks to poor insurance I am trapped here.

The technician Erin was pleasant, informative, detailed, knowledgeable. I also want to include positive and encouraging. She made me comfortable and met my needs. From the time I entered the doors to the hospital's main campus I was greeted and assisted by a pleasant gentleman and walked me to the location to my appointment. Then the receptionist from the office was very helpful in checking me. Great team work!

This past week was a rough one for me. I was very scared to get my first mammogram, but Edward Hospital staff made it super comfortable and easy. The check-in process, the waiting, and the actual appointment went super fast and on time. Then, after the mammogram, they prepared me so well with informing the reason for the upcoming biopsy. By explaining important pre and post procedure guidelines, I felt much more at ease. In two days, I received a call to schedule my biopsy since the hospital had received an order from the doctor. The hospital had an appointment the next day! Amazing! Again, I came there 30 min before my appointment, they took me in right on time. Prepared me so well explain what this procedure consists of and how I'll feel after. They explained what to do after I get home and when to contact them in case of emergency. During the actual biopsy, the nurse and doctor talked through the whole procedure explaining every single step, making my breathing more and more stabilised. They explained how I will feel, how the machines sound, and what is being done to the breast at each step. Before the visit, I was shaking uncontrollably with heart palpitations due to the anxiety about this biopsy, but it went so much better than I anticipated. I am honestly honoured to have had such great care! Thank you for taking such good care of me during my appointments!!!

I was early for my appointment and checked in at the front desk and was told to have a seat in waiting area so I did, well after 20 minutes and seeing 3 other people come in and taken back right away, I walked back up to front desk and asked if it was going to be much longer and she asked me if I checked in yet and I obviously said yes over 20 minutes ago! Well apparently she never checked me in on the computer until I went back up and said something to her. I wasn't happy about that at all and made sure I told the technician when I went back cause I didn't want her to think that I was late for appointment, that it was the lady at the front desk fault. The technician was great and efficient.

I received a mammogram and a blood draw on Thursday, July 1, 2021. All aspects of the testing from sign-in to completion was exceptional. Excellent care by fine radiologist for mammogram. Excellent care by nurse who took blood sample. They both were very amiable and compassionate. Same applies to all other employees I interacted with that day.. Very positive experience!
