It is odd that a few of the reviews make me think they have the wrong doctor, As a longtime patient, i find the care i receive and the care of my wife and children to be exceptional. Nina always spends a lot of time with me and answers all my questions completely. New medications are discussed thoroughly and to my satisfaction. In all the years i have been her patient i have never felt rushed and i have never once had an appointment canceled. The friendly staff always make me feel comfortable and welcome. I highly recommend her.

Shame on me for not sharing this 6 years ago when this happened but it's never too late to help others with information. My daughter was diagnosed with Asthma from Nina. This determination was made after a short visit for a follow up for a respiratory virus. Concerned about the speedy diagnosis, something didn't seem right. I asked Nina for a referral to an Asthma specialist. Thinking this was normal and reasonable, my exceptions were it should not be a problem and the Doctor would want an expert in that specialized area to have a look of their own. Instead, the mood become somber as Nina was visibly upset. Nina asked if I did not trust her diagnosis. I told her I would feel much better with a 2nd opinion. Nina's body language showed she was clearly upset. She then said that if I did not trust her diagnosis she isn't the right pediatrician for my daughter. I told her that I didn't feel that way I just wanted a 2nd opinion and can we please get a referral. She then proceeded to make me pick a choice. If I get the referral she no longer wanted to see my daughter, if I gave up on the referral we could move forward. This was obviously unprofessional and wrong so I asked again for the referral and she left the room. 10 minutes later the assistant to her comes in and gives us the referral and we leave. We see the specialist who put my daughter in an enclosed, specialized air chamber to test her lungs and other asthma related concerns. After all the testing was complete we left. About a week later we got the results and my daughter did NOT have any kind of asthma. This confirmation would have never happened if I didn't stand up to Nina and her ego. It still bothers me to this day that she could be so cold like that and so against a 2nd opinion as if that's a bad thing. I do not recommend her to anyone with children as she clearly did not have my daughter's best interests at heart. I did follow up with her practice to let her know the results and offered to share them, the ship already sailed and they couldn't be less interested. That also bothered me as this was an excellent learning opportunity for Nina to better understand that not only is she not perfect as I certainly don't expect her to be, but she also can make mistakes as a human. Having zero desire to learn from this experience is disappointing because she put her own ego above the health of my child. That will never be okay. I hope she has grown as a person and doctor since this time but who knows, that is why I am posting since it's important and others should know. If Nina chooses to disagree with this review, I would be more than happy to provide documentation of her diagnosis and the specialists results that I have kept.

Have been seeing Dr. Nina for years, she is such a caring doctor. Always concerned with what is best for my elderly mother. If her office was dirty it was most likely because she was involved with her patients care, and the office may have been overlooked. However, the office has never been dirty when I was there. She continues to provide excellent care for my mom. She also takes extra measures to assure a proper diagnosis. She is a wise woman and her bed side manner is very comfortable. I recommend Dr. Nina Maniquis, she is very professional and very kind.

Something has gone wrong! Do NOT go. And also in Spanish - !Corrale! The staff has changed over and is not helpful. Only one person was in front of us. We waited well over 2 hrs in waiting room. It was not busy at all. We were the only patients. The doctor used to be efficient but now appears completely unaware of what the staff is doing and appears overwhelmed. While we were in the midst of the appointment it felt they left for lunch! Waste of time. I think i was punished for just going there. Rude is the least adjective for the staff...this hero thing is getting 's ego up in the sky.

Horrible staff and doctor. Mom had bloodwork done. Doctor said they would call to go over the test results in about a week. A week went by and still no call. I tried calling several times and never got through because they were either "closed or at lunch" and when I would finally get through, the staff was rude and not helpful. About two months have gone by and still no call. Luckily I found a BETTER doctor that cares about their patient's health. Don't waste your time and money.
