I'm reviewing for Patti. I just saw dr nikoliet this morning. What a great doctor. He listened and shared which is great when you see a doctor. Had a lot of good suggestions for me which really put my mind at ease. So glad I found him . I am recommending him to the whole family. Am so relieved after seeing him.
While I would prefer not to get into it too much now because its so fresh, as a female, mixed race, neurodivergent person with a disability, I've been gaslit a lot by medical professionals (though I've found some great ones who have stuck by my side as well), and Dr. Nikoleit is no different. I took his laissez faire demeanor and approach as kindness and a relaxed attitude, but the second I needed something when it wasn't convenient to him, I was gaslit, I was treated like a child, and I was told that my healthcare was not important enough for Dr. Nikoleit to bother with me. That was so hurtful and upsetting, and upon me telling Dr. Nikoleit that, I was the recipient of snarky language, a dismissive tone, and then I was hung up on and ignored. If you check Dr. Nikoleit's two health grades profiles, one of which was from his former practice and one of which is apparently from his current practice, which is unusual, as doctors normally have only one such account for all of their work, you will notice vast discrepancies between the two, and if you bother to look Dr. Nikoleit up on the Illinois state medical licensing board, you will notice multiple complaints from patients with similar stories to mine. My advice would be to steer clear of Dr. Nikoleit. There are other good practitioners at Urbancare, but James Nikoleit isn't one of them.
Dr Nikoleit and his staff were incredibly kind, helpful and efficient in their practice. I got a physical, flu and tetanus shots and an ekg all in the same room in under an hour! Best practice I've ever been to!
Dr. Nikoleit was friendly, knowledgeable, listened to my questions and interested in my previous medical challenges.
