After earning his medical degree from Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, Dr. Harvey Serota, completed his internship and residency at Duke University and pursued advanced cardiology fellowships at Washington University in St. Louis and Saint Louis University. As a Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine at SLU Medical Center and an Instructor in Clinical Medicine at WashU since 2008, Dr. Serota is deeply involved in advancing cardiology care in St. Louis. He specializes in interventional cardiology procedures, cardiometabolic medicine, heart failure management, cholesterol care, and preventive cardiology. Dr. Serota is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology and the Society for Cardiac Angiography and Interventions.

Dr. Serota is an excellent cardiologist. He treated me very respectively and actually listened to me. He did not dismiss my symptoms, but he accurately assessed my health problems, and developed the treatment plan that included my desire to limit prescription medications and to utilize alternatives, such as vitamins and supplements. I believe that he has an individualized approach to his patients. I did not feel like a number to him, but he genuinely wanted to help me.
Dr. Serota and his staff were all very polite and respectful. Dr. Serota is a great doctor he sat and talked to me explained everything to me. Was great at asking as well as answering any questions I had or things I didn't understand. #1 for me. I highly recommend
Only seen him for like 4 minutes because I needed cardiac clearance for my foot surgery and he only came in cause he wanted to see how bad my bunion was. Wouldn't refer him to anyone
