Consultants in Cardiology & Electrophysiology, LLC

My cousin Rene sees cardiologists and goes to the heart clinic at Consultants in Cardiology. She always receives outstanding care from the doctors, nurses and staff when I take her for her appointments. We are usually called in within minutes after we arrive. Whenever I have a concern, I am always able to reach nurses on the phone who communicate with her doctors and call me back. My cousin is a difficult case and does not take a leadership role in managing her health. The doctors and nurses are very carrying and understand her limitations. They always encourage her to do better and praise her as well. This is an exceptional practice. I highly recommend them.

My experience includes Dr. Spear, Dr. Kassas, both cardiovascular surgeons. Surgery & subsequent follow-up. Teresa & Melissa, the ursing staff of both surgeons are equally top notch. Both competent, friendly, professionals, terrific in their respective fields. This group are the definition of precision and expertise. I & anyone will be in good hands & care with Consultants in Cardiology.....in Evergreen Park, IL.

Today visit was a little different .The Environment was the same as always beautiful and clean as always. The medical assistant, doctors and clinical specialists were AWESOME, PROFESSIONAL , INFORMATVE to my mother needs. The only problem was the receptionist, she speaks to patients coming in with attitude no attention whatsoever and no greeting when you come in. Thank God for the rest of the employees because they made up for her . .please give her a vacation maybe its needed. 08-05-2025

My follow up appointment was at 9:30 am and I arrived at 8:45 am. A number of patients came and went. Also, they tried to change my appointment time without confirming with me. I called to straighten out after receiving text. I guess they won. SMH. At 9:45 am I asked front desk how much longer and she said a few minutes. They don't respect the patients' time. Still waiting 10:30am. I AM GLAD THE DOCTOR DO NOT NEED TO SEE ME AGAIN BECAUSE I WILL NEVER GO BACK.

I would only give one star because Doctor zaidi is absolutely amazing but the office is horrific never seen anything like it - nobody answers the phone. the orland park office is outstanding but you have to go through Evergreen Park to get to Orland Park and that's where the problem is. Just for one example I was not receiving a phone call back and it was about 3 weeks after I left a message - when I asked why is it taking that long the receptionist said that's the average of what it takes for us to call people back. I said you're a cardiologist not a podiatrist office I don't understand that - she hung up on me instead of explaining it and I never looked back. I have a new Doctor who is phenomenal however this Doctor here truly was phenomenal but if this is who he staffs - then I have to say adios. Even my local Walgreens said they have nothing but problems with this office.
