Was in for a few days for asthma and heart stuff. The nurse Stephanie in the PMU on the 5th floor during the day was amazing. The difference in a hospital stay is when you have someone caring for you that takes the time to care. Her dedication and compassion shines thru. Thank you so much Stephanie for making healing easier and for helping in every way possible to make things more comfortable and listening to concerns and answering all my questions.

Went to the ER two consecutive days. The first doctor did nothing that helped. The second time I did receive the help I needed. I have insurance but when my bill came, I couldn't pay as they have the payments set up. I am actually able to pay more per month then they have asked for, but I need to split it to two payments per month. I received a past due notice even though I paid more. I called and got a call center that told me I had to pay exactly as set up. They would not help and said they couldn't transfer the call to someone who could.

I had a truly positive experience at Elmhurst Hospital. From check-in to discharge, every staff member I encountered -- nurses, doctors, aides, even security and reception -- treated me with kindness, respect, and professionalism. The hospital was clean, well-organized, and didn't feel overwhelming like many larger facilities. The private rooms were comfortable, quiet, and made a huge difference in helping me rest and recover. I especially appreciated how attentive the nurses were -- they checked in regularly, explained everything clearly, and made sure I was comfortable at all times. The doctors took their time, listened to my concerns, and never made me feel rushed. I felt like a real person, not just another patient. The care team also made sure I had clear discharge instructions and even helped schedule follow-ups, which made things much easier. What stood out the most was the level of genuine compassion I felt from everyone. It's rare to walk away from a hospital stay feeling both physically better and emotionally supported -- but that's exactly what I experienced here. Highly recommend Elmhurst Hospital for anyone looking for quality care in a clean, calm, and truly human-centered environment. I'm grateful for everything they did and wouldn't hesitate to return if needed.

I've had the pleasure of having multiple surgeries at this hospital. I have had nothing but a phenomenal experience. From the staff to the surgeons to the OB/GYN and pediatrics unit, everyone has been very knowledgeable , patient centered, and attentive, making my experience wonderful. I felt truly cared for and attended too.

ULTRASOUND review. Was here today. Cheryl that checked me in couldn't have been kinder, and Natalie who did the ultrasound made it that much better with her positive energy. So glad I got lucky with an earlier appointment and at this location.
