Patient Reviews

Dr. Matusiak is an outstanding doctor and is extremely knowledgeable. I am so surprised by these 1 star reviews because he has been consistently wonderful every time I bring my twins to see him. He is very smart and has wonderful bedside manner! We are always happy with him and laughing during our visits! We will continue to see him for as long as we can.

He was my kid's pediatrician for 15 years. Our experience started out well and I was treated respectfully and as a partner in my children's health decisions. Well, his care philosophy changed and ended with a rude and uncomfortable final visit. If I had to do it over I would not choose him as my children's pediatrician.

Our daughter has had a high fever for going on 8 days. We took her in by day 4 and were told if she didn't improve or got worse to call back after day 7. Our daughter started to complain of a terrible sore throat to the point that she can't eat much, non stop coughing and threw up multiple times, along with the high fever still, so we called back following THEIR procedures we were told to follow. Dr. Matusiak ran a second strep test, (we had one on Thursday afternoon/evening came back negative, so we didnt ask for this one) which came back negative. Dr. Matusiak was very rude when breaking the results to us by saying "Bad news, its negative. Now I know you wanted it to be positive so you would get antibiotics and be all better by tomorrow. Do popsicles." First of all, we followed YOUR clinic guidelines to care for our daughter who has now lost close to 1lb since being seen between Wednesday and Saturday because he throat is so bad she can't eat, throws up because she's coughing so bad, and Dr. Matusiak has the nerve to joke that we were hunting for medicine when we were only doing what we were told by the clinic. Absolutely unprofessional. The nurses and receptionist are wonderful.

I am so thankful we met Dr. Matusiak in the hospital when my son was born. We had actually selected a different Pediatrician prior to my delivery, but because he wasn't a part of the hospital where we delivered, Dr. Matusiak was the physician we saw each day in the hospital. We were very impressed by him, his attentiveness to our questions, his knowledge and experience, and his patience with us being new parents and quite honestly not knowing what we're doing! He also always tells jokes, which honestly may sound silly but it goes a long way in calming my new-parent nerves. We did go to see the physician we had originally selected for my son once, but the experience just didn't compare to what we had already seen from Dr. Matusiak. We've been seeing him now since my son was born a year ago, and we are grateful for the care he provides!

Horrible!! Took my son for his 2 month visit. The doc came in with his laptop, sat down and just started reading off things as if checking things off of a list. I raised some concerns about his 2 month requirements and he became very upset and was not able to give me any answers. Instead he was very condescending and unhelpful! In fact, he made me feel bad for even having concerns. He didn't even fully check my son. He also advised me that due to my concerns specifically about vaccinations for my child I would be kicked out of the practice and I would need to find a new doctor for my 2 month old son because him and his practice would no longer take care of him. I am so very Disappointed that providers like this exist especially in healthcare! He said his priority was the health of my son but yet he dropped him from ever returning for care. I thought doctors take a hippo oath to help everyone yet he refuses to help my son due to concerns I have that are contrary to his. He walked out of the room and didn't return.
