Ascension Alexian Brothers

I have to say I had very good experience at Alexian Brothers, but they were all done with me in the E. R at 7 o'clock and we were waiting for a room upstairs to be cleaned. I did not get up there until 11 o'clock. I asked upstairs what took so long? And they said that room was clean hours ago. No reason for me to be waiting downstairs for nothing. Otherwise, I have to say the nurse is upstairs and I was in room 5115. We're absolutely fabulous along with their aids.They did everything to make my stay as good as possible, very friendly at home.Nurses and their helpers. I have to say, Jen and Carmela were outstanding fabulous nurses.. Your food there needs a little bit more help, but it wasn't like my kitchen.

I got to hospital at 7:30 am for my Pfa surgery at 9am, it was delayed for 3.5 hours do to electrical problems at the hospital. I'm thankful I was 2nd surgery in line so I was able to get it done. I had some complications with bleeding when they sat me up but my wonderful nurse Matt did a great job getting it to stop. The care I received by my nurse was 100% perfect. I was very pleased with my care.

My brother had a stroke and was brought to the er here. My mom almost had a heart attack same day from stress. and stayed here for one week. From June 8th to July 26th my brother was in this hospital. Form ER to ICU to NEURO to REHAB. Everyone has been so nice and helpful. I love this hospital because they gave my brother another chance in life. He is still continuing his rehab in outpatient rehab until now. And i would like to say that I very much appreciate all the kind nurses and doctors, therapist and techs who took care of my brother. THANK YOU ALL from the bottom of my families heart. This hospital is Godsend.

I had to stay at Alexian brothers this past weekend for three days to have the abscess on my stomach monitored and to receive antibiotics through IV. I stayed in building 7 on the 6th floor and had a very good experience outside of my own physical discomfort. From the ER to my room- every single doctor, nurse and food server I came across were so friendly and attentive! It made my stay less stressful. A big shout out Violeta, Jacky and Marianna my wonderful nurses that took care of me and all my needs while I was there. They all made me feel so comfortable during this rough time. Thank you to all of you at Alexian that show up everyday and do your job exceptionally to take care of others! Your hard work and hospitality does not go unnoticed.

Absolutely not a place to take anybody , nurses leaving trash in my father's bed , alarms going off for 30 minutes after calling for something to be done and nurses do not care at all. They shrug and roll their eyes when asked about it. Being busy does not excuse treating a human being like they are beneath you. No communication between staff and nurses and doctors , surgery was set for 5 and I showed up at 4 to be there for him and they had already taken him, without ever notification as well as having no answers when asked where he was, they just didn't know. Absolutely disgusted with this place, it used to be a wonderful place , but now its just an absolute mess . Take people you love to a place where they show love, not distain and passive aggressive behavior, like this place
