Throughout the medical journey that my parents have had, we are yet to meet a kinder soul and a better professional than Dr. Attanasio. Dr. Attansio started seeing my dad at Swedish hospital many years ago and it was a bit scary when he left until we found out that he will be at Rush (a much better institution). Dr. Attanasio is extremely kind, attentive and beyond knowledgeable. He is excellent at preventing problems related to the heart and the cardiovascular system with order tests that can really show the problems that one might have before they manifest with horrible irreversible symptoms. The smile that Dr. Attansio carries around while he is treating his patients is to us half the medicine as he is humble and a true human. I would describe the way Dr. Attanasio practices medicine as an art as he is a true HUMAN by all means and treats his patients as his own family with care. Throughout the years Dr. Attanasio has made himself available to urgent calls even on days when he was out of the office. It is truly our pleasure to have met such a provider and have been blessed enough to stick with him throughout different institutions.
