Dr. Martin Burke, DO

My husband has been with Dr. Burke for over 12 years and is a life saver. His bedside manner is excellent. Takes his time explaining procedures and you know you're in great hands. Can't say enough about this man plus his staff is EXCELLENT.

I've been seeing Dr. Burke for about 6 months. I've had incredibly complex and challenging heart issues for about the past year. No one else I tried seeing felt confident enough to take charge about my cardiac health but Dr. Burke has taken the wheel and I am feeling better than I have in almost a year. He is the perfect combination of being conservative with treatment and not rushing to make decisions, but also willing to make changes as soon as he has enough info to tell him it's the best choice. Once we learned about my rare condition, he took a few weeks to do research on it before deciding to implant my biventricular pacemaker. Beyond being a great doctor, he and his team are so accessible and responsive. It is a MILLION times easier to get in touch with Dr. Burke or one of his nurses than it is someone within a huge hospital system. I am so glad I did my research to find him!

Dr. Burke saved my life and my mental health. Having a heart condition is overwhelming and he put me at ease and corrected my afib/svt. The team is incredibly responsive and helpful.

I am a patient at Dr Burke's office in Chicago. There are hundreds of doctors in my insurance network. After reviewing a few doctors I came upon Dr. Martin Burke, DO. It was like his name jumped off the page so without a doubt I chose him. I must say it was the best decision I have ever made. I called the office and was able to get an appointment within a few days. Upon arrival I was immediately acknowledged with a smile, cheerful hello and how may I help you. Jack came out introduced himself and that's when the best doctor's appointment of my life began. Jack took vitals etc. We talk and laughed, so much so my son said he could hear me laugh. Then in comes Dr. Burke. They both stayed in the room. We went over everything Jack said and more. I could tell they were actually listening. We talked about my options which was totally up to me what I wanted done and when I wanted to do it. Their goal was to give me back my quality of life. I was so comfortable with Dr. Burke and Jack that I made my decision that day. I've had a procedure that I had been putting off for more than a year. To sum everything up Dr. Burke, Jack, Jenny, Carrie and all of his staff are wonderful. They put me at ease, they have great bedside manners. They talk to you not at you and they sincerely listen. Someone is always available if I have any questions or concerns. Lastly but definitely not least, everyone in the office was professional and kind.
