Dr. Gema Ramos, M.D.

Staff and Dr. Ramos very compassionate and thorough, I would recommend her to any one in need of a qualified primary professional person.

Don't trust the Dr nor the staff to care for you. My mother has gone here for care and has been treated like she was unwelcomed. Dr Ramos is not professional and has shown to not behave at all as a DR. I was once her patient and she always showed such coldness and disinterest in being in the room. Could care less to explain what is happening. Got rashes? "It's the lotion you use". My mother and I have both witnessed her just seating and rushing the visit. With no interest whatsoever to help. This clinic should be reported. My mother's request for her medical records was even DENIED here due to her trying to fax them to another hospital not affiliated. That is not alright. That is a HIPAA violation. To deny a patient her right to be treated elsewhere. I work in healthcare and this doctor's behavior and clinic practices are alarming.

Dr. Ramos is an excellent doctor, one of the best practitioners you'll find. I've come across great doctors before and Dr. Ramos, by my estimate, ranks among them. The truth of the matter, giving explanation to the wait time, could be that because Dr. Ramos and the staff at RIIS Family Center are doing such a great job, they seem to have an endless flow of patients. If one should encounter a problem, it most likely will be as a result of this, as more and more people discover a valuable service.

This person has been my doctor for a couple of years. Since the day I met her , she's proven time and time again how unqualified she is. She talks down to her patients. She talks to you in a negative manner. She is quick to want to prescribe anything to you instead of educating you. She has been the worst doctor I've ever seen.

Dr. Ramos office is the best everyone is sick so always be patient if they are taking too long go emergency room you'll be there the whole day..also be patient with the phones .they don't own the company..
