Patient
I could be on here all day telling everyone about the horrible experience I had today with Prairie. The main things people need to know if you are not rolling in on a stretcher or walking in on a cane, then you should not go to this place for medical attention for your heart especially if you are having serious complications. In short, I recently visited the E.R. dept at St. Elizabeth's with shortness of breath and pain in my chest. The last time I checked, I thought there was a different protocol for heart patients experiencing shortness of breath and pain in their chest; however, I quickly found out that St. Elizabeth has gone downhill since they have decided to move. Or are they? Who knows these days but it is a sure thing to say, their quality of service is gone! Why they have me in a hospital gown waiting in the waiting room with the regular people in clothing? In short, I waited over an hour, decided to put back on my clothes and leave since I overheard a woman say she had been there since 8pm and it was going on 2am. I was referred today to see Dr. Chiu and I could have sworn or bet my life that my primary wanted me to get a stress test today. Even though I did not get the medical stress test for my heart, I sure was tested and stressed by the most incompetent medical assistant by the name of Desha Shah. Oh, I just realized her last name is Shah, perhaps that is why she thought she could be unruly and unprofessional and rude to me as a patient. I could go on, by why bother because Ms. Shah told me that she didn't care that I would write her up and report her, in fact, her exact words were, "you go ahead, I don't care!" and then she slammed the door in my face. Wow. What incompetence and unprofessionalism. I doubt if this girl knows what delicate situation you can quickly put a person in who has a history of congestive heart failure but boohoof me, she doesn't care. And it seemed like Dr. Chiu's NP didn't either because I could have sworn I was at Disney World instead of a doctor's office today with the ride that I was given with how a person can tell someone whose blood pressure is reading 134/110 and pulse 100 that they are okay and did not need a stress test even though the records say I have a heart defect but because I had one in 2012 the ding bat didn't see a need. Wow. Well, I guess that is what happens when you don't have much to chose from in a city that only has 2 hospitals and overworked medical professionals who don't give a damn about their patients or getting them well. Looks like the jigs on me, huh.
