West Valley Medical Center

I went to West Valley hospital from Boise to have my surgery Expedited as i was on a time schedule. Let me tell you this hospital is probably the best experience I have had in hospitals. From the first entry they were so helpful in paperwork. When i went in to get the surgery about a week later everything went so smooth and professional. All the people involved from the surgeon to the nurses were absolutely awesome. Happy, jovial People We joked laughed all the while preforming their duties making it a pleasant visit. They all had their different jobs and was a pleasure to have all of them working as a well oiled machine. To you all and i hope you see this. I know it's not supposed to be this way but it was a great time !!

I had a medical situation that required surgery. It is so hard to put into words how amazing the staff and experience was at the hospital! I can't thank the whole medical staff enough for caring about my well being! From Isabel at the front desk, to my nurses Hanah and especially Anna! They made me so comfortable! Finally to Dr. Dani who was with me from the outset! I appreciated the honesty and guidance as I went through my serious condition! Everyone from check in, surgery, & overnight stay in the hospital were very good to me. Dr. Slade was before & after the operation very interested in my well being. His office was very helpful finding a motel & giving instruction so I was ready for the operation. All the hospital staff was helpful, pleasant, & laughed at my jokes. The other doctor who visited me was also very helpful. The food was good. The only thing that I might complain about is that I could not find MASH on the TV.

I had a stress test done at West Valley Medical Center. The technician who assisted me was absolutely fantastic. She made me feel right at home and was genuinely caring throughout the process. However, there was a nurse who had to be present for about 5 minutes to assist, and her attitude was disappointing. She seemed annoyed that she had to be there and carried herself like she was above helping patients. Not exactly the bedside manner you hope for during medical procedures. Overall, most of the staff was great, but that one nurse could use a refresher course in patient care.

The er is the worst I haven't even finished my review yet. When here last night the PA didn't care. When In for a bee sting that was blistering. And show photos of the progress of the bee sting. I also took pictures of the progress of the bee sting. I She said it was cellulitis said she was going to send antibiotics never did. In her doctors notes she conflicting. Left me the dark about my test results until it was almost time to leave. Didn't get me a prescription or a proper room there for that matter. Sat out in hallway for at least 2 hours. Before getting a room that was already used previously. Order a X-ray and blood work. That appears to show nothing. I took an antibiotic in the er last but she didn't prescribe them at the pharmacy. That just the beginning of it. Never coming here again. Zero stars Death Valley. Shame on you, your er needs to be shut down. Don't come here if you can go anywhere else do it. Run from here, this isn't even a full account of what happened. This place needs to be investigated or shut down like I said. I don't even know how they're getting so many good reviews. I think that they have loved ones writing them. Somebody needs to go after them for malpractice. And i hope somebody does, I wouldn't don't blame them if they did. To be honest, I think she was setting me up for failure the the PA. Because she told me to come back if things got worse. Guess what you're never having me again.
