After discovering that our daughter faces a critical congenital heart defect (Tricuspid Artesia) through work with St. Luke's Maternal Fetal Medicine, Dr. Womack made room in his schedule, greeted my husband and I personally in the waiting room and exhibited the best bedside manor I have ever experienced. Aside from taking the time to give us the facts in a straightforward manner, he recognised my need for an academic understanding of our daughter's condition and respectfully provided that as well. Dr. Womack is a standout physician and we consider ourselves very fortunate to be working with him, despite the circumstances. He was a light for us amidst some truly dark moments.

Dr. Womack changed the tide of pounding waves of anxiety for us when we found out from our OBGYN that our unborn baby could have very serious heart problem. My wife an I were in Boise (from Twin Falls) on a short business trip and were referred to Dr. Womack because we had no Pediatric Cardiologist in Twin. We thought to make an appointment with him, but instead, he invited us to come see him as soon as we were done with our business. He spent over two hours with us, examining my wife and unborn baby via ultra-sound, and explained what he saw (which was indeed serious). He was so kind and caring and professional. My wife says it was a miracle that he would take us "off the street" like that, but then to spend so much time with us and give us tough news along with much needed hope for the future. We can't say enough good about Dr. Womack. He continued to follow up with us though we never saw him again in person, as he directed us to those who could best serve our needs. We recently wrote a book about our experience (Cherishing Zion), and one of the chapters is about our experience with Dr. Womack. The best doctor ever!

We met Dr Womack in 2011 when our son was diagnosed with Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome and an AV Defect. He took the time to explain exactly what his diagnosis meant, as well as to draw us a sketch of his unique anatomy that I still have to this day. I was so grateful for the gentle and kind way he presented, what was a really cruddy diagnosis to us. He is an absolutely wonderful doctor that deserves recognition.

Dr. Womack is extraordinary! I am in awe of his compassion, patience, knowledge, and thoroughness. He addresses all of our questions and concerns with an attentive and conscientious nature, and is consistently awesome and inspiring. I will always remember the outstanding care that he has given (and continues to give) to my brother and to my entire family. I have such peace of mind knowing that he is in such caring hands.
