My appointments, surgery and follow up visits with Dr Amado were extremely thorough, comprehensive and so impressively orchestrated from start to completion. He explained everything in easy to understand detail and made sure that all of my questions and concerns were addressed. My initial fears and uneasy feelings were addressed and alleviated. I was born with Hypertrophic Obstructive Cardiomyopathy.
At age 40 I entered into a clinical trial at NIH . My treatment received during my visits to NIH resulted in an Alcohol Septal Ablation.
I have had 5 defibrillators inclusive of 2 recalls involving remvoal and replacement. The 4th device install resulted in a device pocket infection requiring a device and dual wire extraction (performed at Johns Hopkinss). Within a year I was scheduled for an ablation due to Atrial Fibrillation in Boise resulting in an artery punture while inserting the arterial blood pressure monitoring device.

It was good. Just felt useless and took up the doctors time. Absolutely not this office. I had 1 bad episode of afib and honestly didn't think there was a point. But my family said I should go. Doctor Amada was great at explaining things. Highly recommended him and his office.
