Wang Sylvia MD

I LOVE Dr. Wang! She is proactive and wants to prevent what happens to you, not just treat the symptoms or give you what you want. She and Lisa Deppmeier have comforted me through difficult times. The clinical staff are great! Helpful, friendly, humorous. The follow up and follow through are great too. I've read and heard comments about Dr. Wang and to each its own. However, my personal opinion is she and the staff are misunderstood and under appreciated. I have thought about moving off island, but one of the main reasons I don't is because I would need to find another doctor and doctor's office. Yes, I love them that much!

Dr. Wang herself is great and up until now, the staff have been too BUT please beware that Dr. Wang is hard to schedule with unless you are willing and open to travel to the West side where she also works or instead see a PA. Unfortunately, this morning they cancelled an appointment I had been waiting to attend for over a month because the staff neglected to tell me that certain labs needed to be done ahead of time. This is after having spoken to them on several occasions about my concerns. This doctor is great but unless you're OK meeting with a PA on short notice, PLEASE find a different PCP. I understand that they likely have a high volume of patients at this time but I don't think they're managing well at this point and fear that I can no longer trust in their care. Mahalo.

Dr. Wang is a great doctor and very caring. If there is something that she thinks should be examined more thoroughly, she will refer me to another Doctor. I like that.
