Patient
I was a walking time bomb with a 22cm (over 8 inches) aortic aneurysm and a detached aeorta. I was fortunate to have been refered to Dr. Lee by the Queens Cardiac Physicians Team. Its like having Michael Jordan of the Chicago Bulls directing the operation. The supporting team has a big part in contributing their skill and talents in this game to save lives. And Dr. Jeffery Lau and his support team members of doctors, nurses & staff are highly professionals who go up and beyond the call. Sure i could have went with a private doctor. But i thought who would be better to handle the situation if i had any life threatening complication. A private doctor who spends more time writing prescriptions & seeing patients. Or a team of doctors who deal with complications & caos on a regular basis and are quickly prepared and ready for any situation. They are amazingly updated with new & better procedures, medication & every thing you can imagine, well before private doctors do. After all they are a part of the Queens Hospital. And Dr. Lau is like the conductor of this well oil Orchestra. He has a peircing no fear focus to him. Very proffessional & very direct. These are traits that you need to have a successful operation. No head games but just a no nonsense approach. After all do you want your private doctor to be distracted by the environment. Or do you want a team of highly training professionals who controls the operation smoothly & successfully. I learned this through experience first hand and want to help others who may not know this team exist. But you dont have to take my word for it. Call them and find out. You aint got nothing to loose. After all its your LIFE.
