Dr. Shah was personable and understanding. I thought the appointment was for a consultation. An EKG was done and I was billed $10.00. I would give a 5 star but patients should be advised there could be additional charges for procedures that are done. My charge was not much but it could have been more and could create a real hardship for some patients.

The doctors and health professionals are amazing, caring people. However, I have been sent a bill for two months now even after I was assured by my insurance company that it was paid. When I called to speak to billing, they told me they would send it to their insurance people to look into it. But in the meantime, it would continue to be pegged as non paid and could be sent to collections. I spoke with Cecilia White who told me there was no supervisor available, and I should tell my insurance company to call them to clear it up. I continued to request a supervisor and tell her that this needed to be cleared up today since it was paid 3 months ago. She said all she could do it send it to a different department. She then proceeded to hang up on me. I called back to get a new person and request a supervisor. They told me their system was down, and they couldn't help me right now. I again requested a supervisor. I am still currently on hold. My credit should not be dinged because of their computer system error, and no one was willing to help me. I gave them three stars, as I would give the health professionals 5 stars, but the billing department 0 stars, so I split it down the middle.

Dr Shah is very caring and concerned about my cardiac health. On my most recent appointment for surgical release he discovered I needed a pacemaker after having an electrocardiogram. He had me go to the hospital immediately and contacted them that I was coming. I received the pacemaker the next morning by Dr Cruz, who treated this as an emergency. He was very caring and explained the entire procedure clearly. I'm home now and feel wonderful. I am truly thankful for the staff at Northside Heart, especially Drs Shah and Cruz.

I had a very good experience at this location. Parking not good at peak times, but once you get in, you are well taken care of. Very caring professionals.

My husband waited over an hour and then told he was a no show. He wrote his name in the check in but no one was at the front desk. He was in the ER over the weekend was told to follow up with a cardiovascular, booked his appt this morning and now they say he is a no show and they don't have anything for 3 weeks.
