They have the worst answering service. We had been calling for weeks for a script for my mom. They told us if her edema returned then call in and they would put her back on Lasix. Finally, I had to demand a call back only to be told to make an appointment, and best they could do is next week. Why, did we need to come in??? So they can make more money from a visit.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Kimberly Gomez is incredibly rude. Refused to refill my dad's heart medication until she saw him at an appt that was 3 months after he ran out of the medication. He is not a new patient, he's in the system and was told to follow up after a recent stay in the hospital. Completely negligent and incompassionate behavior from a healthcare professional. Would NOT recommend!!!!!

Patient

I called to ask the Doctor a health question about my mother and I found out today that my mother does not have an actual Doctor she has a nurse that called the police on me when she did not feel like answering my call or questions. 2 years and now they the nurse is recommending some other surgical procedures to her heart. How can this be possible without the oversight of an actual doctor a cardiologist doctor not a nurse or nurse practitioner. Practice on your own mother Mrs Kimberly Gomez.

Patient

This office never return calls. What I don't understand with people who work in the medical is if you're going to be nasty, mean spirited, and unapproachable please go home...We ARE SICK OF YOU!!! People show up because they are sick, you can at least smile, and be nice...The call center has the most rudest folks taking calls...Lord Help Us!!!

Dr. Siva K. Suryadevara, M.B.B.S. (M.D.) is excellent. Known to his patients as Dr. Siva, he doctors out of the St Marys office, 8th Street UFHealth in Jacksonville. UFHealth also has a facility closer to St Marys near the Jacksonville airport. Look up his name on Google an you will dozens of reviews that praise him. He has been my Doctor for three years. He listens, he explains, he is thorough, knowledgeable, and empathetic, and responsive to questions and concerns. I can send him messages on the UFHealth MyChart app and he responds within a day (typically that day) via message, or direct phone call. I don't understand any complaints regarding the office at St Marys. You call the St Marys number and someone answers. They call back, make and appointment etc. You can have primary heart diagnostics (EKG, Echocardiogram) performed at this office. Nuclear stress test can be performed at Southeast Georgia Hospital in St Marys. Invasive heart procedures (catheterization, bypass, MAZE, and pacemakers) are performed at 8th street which is about a 37 minute drive which I wish was closer but the Southeast Georgia Hospital Campus where there are some cardio facilities is a 45 minute drive. Some background: I was diagnosed cardiomyopathy and congestive heart heart failure in 2003 caused by a virus. My Doctors in Pennsylvania treated me with medicene and I have carried on a normal life without major complications. After establishing residency in St Marys Doctor Siva diagnosed heart blockages and bypass surgery was performed. Post bypass surgery Doctor Siva diagnosed that my heart was not pumping in proper synchronization. Dr Keim installed a CRT D device (essentially a pacemaker) to synchronize my heart and to protect against afib. I feel great and have no problematic cardio symptoms at this time. I cannot praise the UFHealth medical team enough and especially Dr Siva.
