Dr. Kara was highly recommended by Dr. Tejura. He is so compassionate, caring and I would highly recommend him. I've never been rushed, all my questions were answered and when my daughter died a few years ago he was so sweet. He asks about my family, how I'm doing and always been professional and attentive. Thank you Dr. Kara. His staff and actually all the staff that work there are very friendly.
My Experience: Actual patient care is decent; system for a patient to communicate with Dr.Kara is the worse possible. Have left voice mails with Nurse Advice line and no one has ever called me back. Messages sent via mychart are not routinely checked or if they are checked, there is no response to medication questions which should be answered the same day and no wait for the 24-48 hours. My message regarding pain med needing clarification from doc to Pharmacy is in limbo. Been 2 days and no resolution and in the meantime I remain in pain. My advice is to find another provider.
Be careful. This man almost killed my 72 yr old mother. Gave her wrong heart medicine. Also major refills (for Serious medication) would not be on time. A visiting nurse came to check on Mom. She ended up having an ambulance rush her to hospital where she all most died from heart failure. All due to Kara being uncaring and irresponsible of his patients. Be careful
Dr Kara is a excellent doctor, bed side manners excellent, he listens too his patients, consults with them. Definitely knows his medicine. He will definitely take good care of you. Just listen, ask questions and do what he asks.
